Design
Finding that perfect piece of contemporary jewellery can sometimes be daunting, but for bespoke commissions, Georgie leads the client through the whole process. With her many years working in design, the outcome is always a piece that is completely unique and personal and can be worn as an heirloom for generations to come. She has access to many beautiful high-quality gems and can design and cut the stones to many interesting and unique forms. The stones she sources are all hand-cut by experts from all around Australia and most pieces are completely one-off designs.
For each unique piece Georgie leads the client through every stage. There is always a series of drawings produced that outline the project in the first instance, once the drawings are approved, Georgie makes a wax model which is then produced in recycled gold. The final step is to set the beautiful hand cut stones.
Each piece can have individual meaning tied into the design. From a symbolic stone, special location, person or sometimes even a beloved pet; memories or moments can be tied into your piece.
